زلزال تركيا وسوريا أثر على المواقع الأثرية

تعرضت المواقع الاثرية في الجزء الغير محتل تركياً لأضرار نتيجة زلزال 6 فبراير 2023 المدمر حيث قمنا بزيارة موقع كالوتة و الكشف على مبانيها المتبقية و تبين خلال الكشف ان الكنيسة الشرقية قد تضررت بشكلٍ بليغ في أحد أهم عناصرها المعمارية المتبقية و هي الحنية الرئيسية و ما يعلوها من الجبهة المثلثية في الضلع الشرقي من الكنيسة وانحصرت الأضرار بانهيار الجزء المتبقي من الجبهة المثلثية المقامة فوق الجدار الاستنادي المستقيم للحنية الرئيسية للكنيسة التي انهارت هي الاخرى في قسمها العلوي مروراً بالعمودين المدمجين في البناء لحمل الحنية وما يعلوها ،كما حدث سقوط لبعض المداميك الحجرية الضخمة وتكسرها نتيجة الهزة الارضية في أحد الابنية الخدمية غربي الخرائب قرب الطريق المعبد للقرية أما موقع برج القاص فانحصرت الاضرار في برج الناسك الذي تعرض في ضلعه الشرقي إلى الانهيار بنسبة 70 % وإحداث خلل عام ببنية البرج المتبقية من تشققات و صدوع وتباعد المداميك الحجرية عن بعضها البعض إضافةً الى تعرض المباني التراثية القديمة المبنية بجدران مزدوجة الى انهيار السطح الخارجي للجدران أحدها مبنى شاهق نصفه اثري قديم و النصف الاخرى تم إضافته في القرون الماضية.

The archaeological sites in the unoccupied part of Turkey were damaged as a result of the devastating earthquake of February 6, 2023, where we visited the Kalota site
Kalota and the inspection of its remaining buildings, and it was found during the inspection that the eastern church had been severely damaged in one of its most important remaining architectural elements. It is the main apse and the triangular front above it on the eastern side of the church. The damage was limited to the collapse of the remaining part of the triangular front built over the retaining wall.
The straight line of the main apse of the church, which also collapsed in its upper part, passing through the two columns integrated into the building to carry the apse and what is above it.
Some huge stone blocks fell and were broken as a result of the earthquake in one of the service buildings, west of the ruins, near the paved road to the village.
For the village, as for the site of Al-Qas Tower, the damage was confined to the Hermit Tower, which in its eastern side collapsed by 70% and caused a general defect in the remaining structure of the tower due to cracks and cracks and the spacing of the stone courses from each other.
In addition, the old heritage buildings built with double walls were exposed to the collapse of the outer surface of the walls, one of which is a tall building, half of which is ancient, and the other half was added in the past centuries.
